Terms of Reward - Report an Empty Property

Property Criteria


We only consider properties that:


  • have been uninhabited for more than 12 months
  • are in poor condition and derelict, as determined by us
  • are not listed Grade I or Grade II
  • are not of non-standard construction types (such as park homes or thatched roofs)
  • are residential and not commercial or used for commercial purposes (residential properties built atop commercial units are not accepted)
  • are not part of a high-rise block of council or ex-council properties
  • are privately owned, with the exception of privately owned retirement homes and care facilities
  • have not recently been, nor are currently, under renovation, development or refurbishment
  • is located in England or in the following Welsh postcodes:  CF1, CF3, CF31, CF32, CF33, CF34, CF35, CF36, CF46, CF5, CF61, CF62, CF63, CF64, CF71, CF81, CF82, CF83, CH4, CH5, CH6, CH7, CH8, NP1, NP11, NP10, NP19, NP20, NP2, NP3, SA1, SA2, SA3, SA4, SA5, SA6, SA7, SA18, LL11, LL12, LL13, LL14, LL18, LL19, LL20, SY13 or SY14 (Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland are ineligible)

Terms

These are the Terms, inclusive of our Privacy Policy, on which you participate in our £20 cash "Reward Scheme".


By clicking and submitting the 'Report an Empty Property' form you thereby confirm your acceptance of the Terms. If any of the Terms are not acceptable to you, you cannot participate in the Reward Scheme. Throughout the Terms are references to yourself, the person participating in the Reward Scheme, in the form of "you" and "your". References to "we", "us" and "our" refer to Q CHISHTI PROPERTIES LIMITED, trading as CHISHTIS.


How To Participate

Should you notice an uninhabited residential property (referred to as "Property" in the Terms) that is in poor condition, you can participate in the Reward Scheme. Entering the Reward Scheme requires filling out all the requested information regarding yourself and the Property into the "Form" and you can report any number of Properties so long as the same Property is not reported more than once.


We are not responsible in the event that receipt of your submitted Form is inhibited in any way, such as technical issues pertaining to web and internet services or computer failures.


Participating in the Reward Scheme also entails your consent to us sharing details about your submitted Property(s) with our business partners or other third parties.


Eligibility

You must be aged 18 years or above to participate in the Reward Scheme. Your participation acts as your confirmation of your eligibility and we may at any stage request evidence of your eligibility based on our clearly highlighted criteria.


Your Form will be rejected if it is generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI), if it is incoherent and illegible, if it is a reconstruction of other participants' Forms or if it is incomplete.


We reserve the right to alter the Reward Scheme at any time and also to cancel it altogether, nor are we liable to inform you regarding impending changes, interruptions or cessations to the Reward Scheme. Forms filled following the withdrawal of the Reward Scheme shall not be eligible.


We reserve the right to reject your submitted Form and participation in the Reward Scheme upon discovering any breach of the Terms on your part.


We reserve the right to reject any Property regardless of its compliance with all the listed criteria, for reasons not explained in the Terms.


In case of Google maps being outdated in the instance of a particular Property, we reserve the right to request photographic evidence or confirmation of the Property prior to evaluating your Form for the Reward Scheme. In this scenario, sufficient photographic evidence, as deemed by us, will be necessary for your Form to be considered.


Cash Reward


If we deem the Property and your participation in the Reward Scheme eligible, we will add your name to our list of "Qualified Candidates", who may receive a £20 Cash Reward. At exclusively our discretion, we shall determine which of the Qualified Candidates to select to receive the £20 Cash Reward and are not liable to provide explanations to those Qualified Candidates who were not selected.


Those selected will receive an email confirmation within 30 days from the end of the calendar month in which their Form was submitted. In exceptional circumstances, we may delay this up to a further 60 days.


The £20 Cash Reward will be sent to the selected Qualified Candidates via bank transfer. The necessary bank details will be requested by us in the aforementioned email confirmation.


It is your responsibility to ensure that your Cash Reward is not used in any unlawful activity. Doing so will render you ineligible from further participation in the Reward Scheme.


Commission


Entering the Reward Scheme means you may be eligible for a "Commission" equal to 1.5% of the actual purchase value of your submitted Property should we decide to complete our purchase of it. The Commission is subject to a £10,000 cap.


You are eligible for the Commission if you: 

  • notify us of a Property using the Form and we proceed to purchase the property
  • have no financial stake in the sale and/or purchase of the Property
  • are not in breach of any of the Terms

We reserve the right to decide against purchasing any Property and are under no obligation to explain the reasoning behind our decision.


Ineligibility Conditions


Irrespective of fulfilling all of the criteria laid out hitherto, you will be deemed ineligible for the Commission if:

  • you reported the Property to a competitor prior to or after submitting the Form (reporting it to local authorities is an exception)
  • you or someone associated with you made a competing offer for purchasing the property
  • we decide at our own exclusive discretion that you are ineligible

Claiming Your Commission


If deemed eligible, you will receive an email confirmation of the Commission within 30 days of our completion of purchase of the Property alongside the transfer of the particular Commission amount to your bank details as provided prior. This email will also contain evidence of our payment of the Commission to you.


Disclaimers


We are not liable for any inconvenience, loss or damage incurred from your participation in the Reward Scheme or receipt of the Cash Reward or Commission. We are only obligated to pay the Cash Reward or Commission where eligible.


You agree maintain confidentiality regarding the Property's purchase price, the Commission amount or any other information pertaining to the business between us without our express permission.


You agree to us sharing the information you provide us about yourself with our partners where deemed necessary by us. Refer to our Privacy Policy on our website for more information.


We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events that are beyond our control.


You accept that you have not relied on any representation that is not laid out by the Terms.


The Terms are governed by English law and you agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
